So, we are now one of the 'retired'. I can't seem to get use to it and I have no idea what day it is anymore. It's been 2 months and there are many days that I wake up and wonder what it is I am suppose to be doing.
In the last 2 weeks there has been some rhythm to creating hats. Not sure what spurred it but I am trying to get into the studio early and just 'do something'. The 'do something' has turned into several new hats and it seems that the more I make the closer I get to the freedom of hat making that I had before.
Of course, it is July and today it will be 103 degrees and no one will want to even think about a hat here in this town, but some of the joy of just creating is returning.
It's a good thing.
